March: Women History Month

Posted in General by admin

Couple centuries ago women could not own property, work, vote or even sign a contract. The woman in those times would be an obedient wife who would stay home taking care of children, cooking food, and maintaing the household interior. Education to women was also limited and she could never question her husband’s decision or have her own independent opinion.

Today, much has changed and we might even have a lady president for the coming presidential term. She has equal rights as men and ability to make decisions of her own. Credit goes to the constant upheaval and constant fight for equal rights by the activists.

Mobile Google - a Gphone?

Posted in Gadgets, General, Science & Technology by admin

Google is stepping into the mobile business after achieving the status of most popular search engine and developing other free and useful services such as Google maps, Gmail, and YouTube. Although these applications are available individually for today’s mobile phones, the new generation of phones from major cell phone manufacturers like LG or HTC will already come integrated with Google search and applications. Google might even surprise us with their own innovative hardware with all the essential Google applications built into the headset system.Google Mobile services I expect something even better than Apple’s iPhone.

Black Friday

Posted in General, Human Behavior & Relationships by admin

Saw few people outside the stores on Thanksgiving Day for the grand sale. Usually the sale period starts around 5-6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, but is the overnight wait outside the store doors reasonable or insanity? Is the money saved worth the aggravation, the rush, and the stampede?

Share your experiences: whether you were in the line waiting for store to open, witnessed road rage to the mall, or enjoyed a gruesome cat-fight inside the store.
